Cutie Mark: A gear inside an atom, representing technology, from science. The atom represents his unusually large scientific knowledge, and the gears represent his knowledge of technology. Just as a note, the gear is inside of the atom to also represent the paradoxes and ironic things he says, does, and thinks of.

Personality: Oftenly, he is very intelligent, and a bit wise on occasion. He possesses a VERY large knowledge of science and technology, and oftenly, mentions science alot. He is very skeptical of ponies who use magic, I.E, Cadence, Twilight, Luna, Celestia, and others. Also, interestingly enough, he seems to have compassion to an unrealistic level, and otfenly, is a bit extroverted. He's also a realist, and at times, a pessimist.

Backstory: Scilight grew up with Rarity and Sweetie Bell. Scilight is in Rarity's family, so he gets his unicorn attribute due to that. As a young colt, he was conflicted because he always had ideas about technology and science that everypony looked down upon. He was bullied and insulted ALOT because of his intelligence. During his colthood, he accidentally invented the friendship express. Also, he invented the digital circuit when he dug up some silicon one day. But, to move on, just like his parents, he always innovated. So... skipping to his adult hood, he currently invents new stuff everyday, lives in a high-tech anti-magic metropolis he built, and he has many friends. His parents have died, but it was not his fault. Up to this day, he lives in Princess Celestia's Forbidden Path. Also, he invented everything past the friendship express. Electrically powered stuff? Yup. PonyPad? Yup. Digital Circuit? Of course! Scilight is the father of the quantum age, the space age, the electrical age, the digital age, and the atomic age. Truly, you can call him the "Monarch Of Science". But, to his darker side of things, during his childhood, he oftenly was beaten and abused by his parents, and may randomly get upset because of that.
