Appearance: Selena is a gem pony, one of only four known in all the world. Her body is made entirely of diamond including her mane and tail. To anypony else she looks just like a crystal pony.

Cutie Mark: Her talent and purpose in life is Karma. Her mark of the scales of justice represents how she brings balance to the lives of others by enacting their karma.

Personality: Even though she is the physical manifestation of karma, she is very friendly, always looking out to help others and brighten the lives of those who have been wronged. She doesn't mind doing what needs to be done.

Backstory: Selena's story begins with Princess Luna. Before Selena it was Luna's responsibility to bring balance through karma, this required her to cause bad things to happen, but Luna was too kind to do what was needed. So she split her soul into a moon diamond, placing a copy of her memories and all her best traits inside. leaving her with the ability to do what was needed with the knowledge that she would put herself back together when her work was done. Over the thousand years Luna was gone, Selena became conscious within the diamond, and thus she was born. When Luna returned her soul was healed by the elements, making it impossible for Selena to be reintegrated into Luna. Luna formed a body for Selena out of diamonds, and raised her as her child, training her to take her place as the manifestation of Karma. Selena traveled with her mother all across the world, experiencing many different cultures. After 10 years living with her mother, she left to live on her own, to understand life as a normal pony.
