Appearance: Dark gray coat with his mane and tail being grey with random stripes of black. <br /><br />His eyes are a dark brown, he is one of the few ponies that possess canines and can eat meat or most plants excluding flowers and hay. (tooth structure is like a humans)<br /><br />For the most part he looks rugged with scars across his chest, and one on his muzzle. His fur is unevenly grown and rough. His mane is cut short along with his tail.

Personality: Shadow Dancer is withdrawn, reflective,highest and dose not trust easily, and harbors a lot of anger and malaice against those he believes wronged him. But under that is just a empty hole that once was filled with love, and now years for it once more.<br /><br /> Often when he dose talk to others he much prefers to keep his conversations brief and to the point for this reason not many know too much but that he was in the Equestrian military.<br /><br />

Backstory: He was born in Canterlot to a middle-class family. His parents are; a Unicorn mother and Threshal otherwise known as a Bat-pony father. Both whom met in the Equestrian military.<br /><br />Shadow Dancer's childhood was like that of most children barring the occasional insult from the guards of the richer families, but with other middle-class children in the area. But faced heavy bullying from the higher class children often being called freak, halfbreed along with blank flank.<br /><br /><br />At the age of eight he received his Cutie Mark when he was playfully hiding from his father and had a magic spurt and melded with a shadow, his father about panicked looking for him thankfully the spell wore off and he was found.<br /><br />Because of the rare ability to minipulate shadows Shadow was taken out of his regular school and put into the school for gifted Unicorns whom grudgingly accepted him, if only because of his abilities.<br /><br />Shadow Dancer at the age of fifteen was quite often ridiculed for being a "Half-breed." Often finding himself in fights and in the archmages office.<br /><br />At sixteen he was finally expelled when he almost killed a pony during a fight by using his foes own shadow to strangle his opponent, a pony named Bright Shine. Who started it all by by calling his mother a "Shameless whore who fucked the entire guard." and that Shadow Dancer was the result. <br /><br />From then on the Archmage, Magic Flair saw Shadow Dancer as a danger and burned a rune on his neck that limited his magic to very little more than basic spells.<br /><br />At the age of 18 Shadow Dancer joined the the Lunar guard, where he served for eight years even meeting a Bat-pony mare named Hushed Whisper that he developed feelings for during the time they worked together for a year and later they dated for another year. <br /><br />Shadow Dancer was ready to propose to Hushed Whisper after their shift was over but when they were guarding the entrance to Canterlot during the day of Cadences and Shining Armors wedding, the Changelings attacked Hushed was killed during the chaos, impaled by a changelings horn. <br /><br />From then on he cursed the rune on his neck and not being able to use his shadow magic at all, believing that with it he could have saved his wife to be. From that moment on he developed a hate for changlings, and for the Archmage, along with re introducing a general hate for nobles. Seeing the Archmage as to have indirect responsibility for his bride to be's death.<br /><br />Shadow Dancer finished his tour before resigning from active duty, and moved to Ponyville to live the rest of his life out working for a Blacksmith. While trying to find a way to get rid of the rune's magic.
