Appearance: Skin tone is a bright green, hair color is bright orange and yellow. Eyes are a bright red. She is freckled.

Cutie Mark: 3 bubbles with music notes in them, as she is a singer and plays a wide assortment of instruments. The bubbles represent her fragile psyche, which can be compared to a bubble. She is easily intimidated and hurt emotionally, much like how a bubble can be popped with just the slightest touch.

Personality: Ditzy and carefree. Tends to daydream. She enjoys music above anything, and often finds herself dozing off with symphonies running through her head. She is kind hearted, but a bit of an airhead. Affectionate and sweet, but naive and ignorant. She is often blissfully unaware of those who would harm her or take advantage of her. She tends to be fragile, and raising one's voice at her can result in emotional breakdowns. She cares deeply about those close to her, as she tends to rely on others for emotional strength and support. Her biggest fear is abandonment. She enjoys spending time alone or in small groups, as crowds tend to make her anxious.

Backstory: Shady comes from the projects of Manehattan. She never knew her father, and was raised by her mother until her death at the hands of a Pegasus thug. She was abused by local gangs in her foalhood, and was often taunted at school due to her low-income household. As a result, she was a loner for most of her foalhood, and her social skills suffer because of this. She was very young at the time of her mother's death. A burglar had broken into her apartment with the intent of stealing. Her mother tried to stop him of course, but ended up fatally wounded in the conflict. Shady hid in the closet until the burglar left, and was unfortunately a witness of her mother's death. This, along with her abuse in the streets of Manehattan, played a large role in the development of her delicate mental state. She moved in with her aunt in Ponyville after her mother's death, where she began studying magic privately and taking music lessons with Octavia. It was some months after this that she earned her cutie mark. She was quite talented in the composition and performance of various styles of music, from orchestral to rock and even jazz. She has never been involved in romance, as her fragile personality is often a turn-off.
