Personality: Not the most honest or principled of characters, Shady only really cares about himself. A willingness to put himself (or preferably others) at risk for his own gain has got him into trouble both with the law and the criminal underworld.<br /><br />He's a shrewd businesspony (when he's thinking clearly anyway) but his brash and somewhat abrasive personality doesn't win him many friends - just associates.

Backstory: Entered the drug trade after running up gambling debts, having been involved in fencing stolen goods in the past. Having run afoul of a rival dealer in Las Pegasus, Shady moved to Manehatten in something of a hurry to reestablish his operation, and was celebrating his successful break-in to the market when a bar-fight escalated and he ended up arrested for murder.<br /><br />This brought him to the attention of the police, and his links to the drug trade were soon discovered. Owing substantial sums of money to a local crime lord, and having ratted on most of his criminal associates, Shady is far more afraid of being released than he is of incarceration, a fact that drew him to the attention of certain interested parties...
