Silk Shine

Appearance: (I know the image is bad, but I don't have a better image yet) silk shine is a soft blue/lilac colored unicorn. her white manes and tail are long and have a silky texture, they have a pink and a mint green section in it and her manes are tied together in a lose ponytail hold together with a blue, silk scarf that has her name written on it. she has blue/grey eyes.

Cutie Mark: Silks cutie mark is a CD with white stripes comming from it that look like sheet music but without music notes on it. It represents her passion for making music and her silence.

Personality: silk is a really kind hearted, musical unicorn. she is really curious about everything new. even though she doesn't talk, she loves being around other ponies and listening to what they have to say. but she also doesn't mind being alone, reading or mixing music, and not having anypony around.<br />silk is also really bad at hiding her emotions and she can be a bit hot headed from time to time.

Backstory: silk was born in a quite big, old fashioned, family. her parents where not interested in technology or anything 'modern' and they raised their children like they did 100 years ago. silk was the middle child, she has 1 sister and two brothers below her and 2 sisters and 1 brother above her, and she didn't get much attention.<br />silks parents thought that it was bad when fillys talked much and they should be quiet and out of sight. this was really difficult since silk loved talking and getting attention so it happened often that her parents where angry at her.<br />when silk went to school she came in touch with technology, and especially computers, and se loved it! she wanted to learn everything about it. then she heard about dubstep music for the first time and that moment she realised that she wanted to become a DJ. she bought a laptop from her own money and hid it in her room where her parents couldn't find it so she could mix music in her free time. but her parents found out she had a computer and took it away from silk. silk was so angry she shouted that she would never talk again to them, or anypony else. but her parents laughed at her and said that she could never do it. that made silk really angry and even more determand to never speek again. in the beginning it was really difficult but after a few days she realised that life was just as easy without talking. maybe even easyer since her parents didn't mind her being around as much as she did before. and other ponies where less carefull with what they said when silk was around because she wouldn't tell it to anypony.<br />after a month not having talked silks parents started to worry a bit and they asked her to pleas talk again but silk refused. but now silk wanted to ask them to give her laptop back. since her parents where allready concerned about here they where willing to give it back if she could explain why. silk realised they where forcing her to talk if she wanted her laptop back but she really didn't want to and she wished that whey could just look inside her head to see why. that moment her horn started glowing and a magical stream came out of it. it wrapt itself up and formed the things silk thought of. the magical stream showed silk, grown up, behind DJ decks on a stage in front of a big crowd of ponys. it zoomed in on silk and it showed how happy she was. that moment silks cutie mark appeared. Her parents finaly accepted silks dream and understood that it was her destiny so they gave her laptop back and silk started mixing music again and eventually also preforming as a real DJ. <br />When she finished school she moved to manehatten she lives in a nice small apartment and she loves going out and meeting with friends.
