Appearance: Silver has a blonde mane and tail and blue eyes and wears an enchanted suit of armor and carries a legendary sword and shield enchanted by Light Magic bestowed upon it by the gods and Princess Divinity.

Cutie Mark: A Sword and Shield Crest. Representing that his talent is being a chivalrous knight. It's hidden underneath his armor.

Personality: Kind, Brave, Faithful and Loyal, Hardworking, Disciplined, Strong sense of justice, Very noble and chivalrous. A heart as pure as the driven snow. Silver is a hardened veteran of battle. But beneath that hard exterior lies a heart purer than Gold.<br /><br />When facing evildoers or evil creatures Silver is extremely serious and has a no nonsense personality. But when talking to mares and other ponies he shows complete refinement, chivalry and kindness.

Backstory: Silver Sword was born and raised in Canterlot. As a colt he was always there for others in school and on the playground etc. fending off bullies and troublemakers and the like and returning stolen lunch money to the victimized student(s).<br /><br />Silver Sword works as the Captain of the Royal Guard for Equestria and was a good friend of Shining Armor back at the Knight Academy before he left and became Captain of Equestria's Royal Guard. Unlike most Unicorns he had an interest in "hoof-to-hoof combat" as opposed to magic when he was a colt. His magic is not at the level of Twilight Sparkle or Trixie but he is still a formidable magician in his own way. He is capable of fairly strong attack and defense magic much like Shining Armor. However his overall combat and fighting prowess proved to be far superior to that of any other Unicorn in Equestria much like how Twilight's magic proved to be better than any other Unicorn in the kingdom at a very young age. After hearing about his father Platinum Lance's career as a military general for Canterlot's Knights, He chose to enroll at the Knight Academy in Canterlot after finishing elementary school because even though he knew education was important he felt his duty to justice was even more so. and underwent extremely rigorous training and rose through the ranks and graduated the Knight Academy within only a few months revealing himself to be a prodigy. He enrolled at the Knight Academy and graduated within only a few weeks becoming the Captain of the Royal Guard in Equestria revealing himself to be a prodigy. After first becoming Captain and donning his badge he swore an oath to justice and vowed to protect the weak and fight for justice and peace. His first act of chivalry as a knight was single-hoofedly fighting off a horde of timberwolves that were threatening a young filly in the everfree forest and saving her life returning her home to her parents. He is also capable of holding his own against an army of Changelings, Adult Dragons, Chimeras, Ursa Minors, and other races of evil beings and mythical monsters. He continued his duties as Captain of Equestria's Royal Guard for years to come and became Princess Celestia's most faithful and loyal bodyguard. As a reward for his efforts he was bestowed a suit of blessed armor with high resistance to magic, an enchanted indestructible shield and the divine blade, The Sword of Righteousness and was also on very good terms with Princess Celestia. The blade and shield and armor bestowed him with even greater strength and speed than what he had before.
