Personality: Lonely and kind wizened by age

Backstory: during the time that Luna's grandfather ran the kingdom he was a Unicorn that was experimenting with mirror magic (which did not exist at the time) Everyone laughed at his research in time he grew resentful and to show that you could perform magic on mirrors he cast a spell on all the mirrors in Equestria trapping whoever happened to be looking in them inside. The king stopped him, freed the prisoners and punished Silvermane by locking him in a mirror. Over time Silvermane saw the error of his ways.
