Appearance: Simon is about 5' 6". He has a small build, but is stronger than he looks (above average for his size, which isn't all that strong compared to, say, the average soldier). He has wavy brown hair, but seldom does anything with it other than make sure it is a manageable length; he doesn't care about appearance nearly as much he does practicality.

Personality: Simon is very dedicated to his work, but since he can't do any real testing without any live dragon specimens, he constantly feels as if he isn't really doing anything. This makes him quite irritable. He has a short temper, but can control himself so that he doesn't snap, or at least, regains composure shortly after. He is generally a bit of an ass to most people, intentionally or not. He has very little time for most people, only really paying attention to people he views as intellectual equals, or his superiors (though that's only out of necessity).

Backstory: Simon has always been intelligent, and loved various sciences. Blessed with a healthy interest in history, he spends much of his free time studying old books. <br />Simon's college years were spent working dead-end jobs and doing the bare minimum required to pass his classes, while pursuing other exploits, the biggest of which was an attempt at scientific analysis of some ancient books regarding dragons.<br />He eventually caught the eye of Talon, who funded him to continue his studies, as well as introducing him to others with similar interests. However, with the lack of dragons, they could never actually test any findings, so very little was accomplished. Since the Emergence, Simon and his fellow scientists have been waiting eagerly for a live specimen to experiment on.
