Appearance: Dark green coat and black mane and tail with one green streak going through them. His hair covers his left eye, giving him an emo look. Lifting the hair you find that his left eye is actually missing, leaving only a dark hole, which is why he covers it. He has a normal build for a stallion.

Cutie Mark: His cutie mark is two crossing notes. He obtained his cutie mark when he was living with his parents. He found a love for music, and was very talented at singing and song writing. When he wrote a song for his mother about how much he cared for her on mother's day, he lost himself in the music, and his cutie mark appeared after he finished and his mother complimented him.

Personality: Skar has a leader's personality, with a hint of shyness and being oblivious. Barely anything can anger him, and takes a lot to do so. He tries to avoid conflict and hopes to resolve most fights with talk. When his friends or himself are threatened a different personality takes control. This personality is cold and forward, and never makes a mistake.

Backstory: Skar was born into the Diamond family, which for the past three hundred years have only had Unicorns born into the family. Skar was the first Earth Pony since then, and is the reason his father neglects him. His mother was always there for him and was the only pony to ever truly love him before meeting Serenity, his love. At the age of 18 Skar's mother died from an unknown illness, and blames himself for not being able to save her. However, he also blames his father for the month she was sick he was out of town on business, and only added gasoline to the fire when he came to funeral with his new lover, just to tell Skar he is no longer allowed in the Diamond Manor.<br />Skar, after staying at his mother's grave for hours, headed for Ponyville, but had to go through the Everfree Forest to do so. He got lost and was attacked by a shadow pony that had steel blades for hooves. The shadow pony quickly lunged at him, stabbing Skar in the left eye. Skar was in immense pain but fought the shadow pony. The battle lasted a good while, in which he got wounds from, until he defeated the shadow pony. He had lost too much blood though and collapsed. <br />When he came to he was in the Ponyville Hospital, brought there by his best friend Red Lightning.
