Personality: Skyler is very quiet and doesn't make much of a fuss. She does as she's told usually, but sometimes she has random outbursts of depression or anger. She hates being told to eat, and she has to be watched constantly in the showers to make sure she doesn't harm herself. She gets very irritated when she can't wash her hands multiple times or take four showers a day.<br />If she feels even the slightest bit dirty and cannot do anything about it, she becomes irritated and snaps easily.<br />Her moods are very unpredictable.

Backstory: Skyler grew up in an unstable home. Her father was a drunk, and her mother was overly dramatic and had "spot light syndrome." She had attachment issues with her mother, and slept in her bed until she was eleven years old. She grew up with her brother, who is ten years older than her. She became a lot like him. She has three older sisters and then the one older brother. They all put her down constantly and treated her as if she wasn't important enough to be thought of.<br />She was bullied a lot in middle school, and that's when she started to become shy and introverted. It's also when she gained the anxiety&depression. She kept to herself, and rarely talked unless spoken to.<br />Her voice is so quiet that sometimes people have to ask her to repeat herself many times over.<br />She felt so disgusted with herself that she quit eating.<br />Around this time, she felt out of control of her life, and so she began to control how many times she washed or how many pieces of food she ate, which would be considered OCD.<br />In the 8th grade she began to cut herself, saying it gave her a rush and helped her deal with her emotional distress.<br />The cutting became worse in high school when her first boyfriend dumped her and her best friend told her she no longer wanted anything to do with her.<br />She stopped sleeping around this time- staying up all hours of the night, thinking about anything & everything she possibly could.<br />Skyler even burned herself a few times, just to get rid of the pain.<br />She tried to kill herself two times- once with sleeping pills and once with a belt.<br />Her mother found her in the closet trying to strangle herself with a belt and, being tired and emotionally drained from all her self harm, sent her to the mental center.
