Cutie Mark: Sketch's mark shows a piece of paper being jotted down upon a quilled pen signifying his love to draw. The ink is colorful representing his ability to weave the essence of life itself onto a simple medium signifying his passion to express himself. On both sides of the paper and pen are the Sun and Moon. These both represent his willingness to continue his work regardless of the time of day for the powers of Night and Day will not stop even him from his passion...and his inability to sleep with said passion, though this has double meaning for the Sun and the Moon also represent his opposite personalities.
Personality: Sketch is a good stallion at heart and will undoubtedly show it when met with the right ponies, though he could care less for those around him if they do not show interest to recognize them. Sketch has two major staples of his personality when it comes to play and they are all depended upon if Sketch has got enough sleep. (or not enough..)

If Sketch is his usual working exhausted self, he has this don't care attitude about what he does nor does he have the insight towards consequences if their be any. He talks slow with a mellow tone. Although seeming exhausted, Sketch will no doubt continue to work through the long hours of the night and maybe collapse by morning.

If Sketch gets enough rest then his bright and friendly demeanor comes out of it's nightly shell and greet's the day's essence by trotting about town and giving the nearest Mare and/or Stallion and fine Salutation!

Dedicated, friendly, and all around hard working are just a few of Sketch's good points, while working to the point of exhaustion, oblivious to the world around him, and becoming a zombie towards the finishing of his work are some of the...not so good points to this pony.
Backstory: Sleepless Sketch came from the quiet country-side of Ponyville and grew up there for a good amount of his childhood, though eventually Sketch had the need and passion to pursue his special talent, Drawing, though he wanted to seek a more professional profession such as Concept Design in the Film Industry.

After attending college over at Manehatton and receiving his 4year Degreee,he had taken several jobs in order to pay off his tuition but ultimately felt unhappy in the big bustling city away from his quiet town of Ponyville where he was desperate to find his lost happiness...and a goodnight's rest.

Now Sketch has returned back to Ponyville and inherited his old house where his parents raised him as a foal and are now living out their retirement days in Las Pegasus. Sketch is continuing to accept commissions and freelance jobs in Ponyville and those who seek out his work while enjoying the nice quiet easy living in Ponyville...at least, that's what he thought before strange things occasionally happen from time to time.
