Personality: Slide Grease is cocky and a bit (okay, a lot) full of himself. EXCEPT when he picks up his trombone, and he plays his true feelings. Because of this, Slide Grease's best friend is Turner, which is what he named his trombone.

Backstory: As a young colt, Slide Grease was a popular kid, and seemed to bully others to avoid being bullied because he was a blank flank. He always had a "all fillies love me" adittude. In the end, this turned him into a social reject. His parents tried to help him, but Slide Grease rejected them, too, thinking he had to be independent. To avoid ever feeling this way again, Slide Grease decided to hide his feelings away forever, and try to avoid all social interaction. When going off to college still a blank flank, his parents tried everything; eventually, Slide found a trombone. When he played, his true feelings were heard in the music, and his cutie mark appeared. However, Slide still viewed feelings as a weakness, but enjoyed letting them out, so most days now, he just sits around by himself and plays Turner the Trombone.
