Appearance: Snowy Fields has an ashen white coat and a faint blue mane. His body naturally strikes a balance between being lean and muscular. He has a slightly above average height.

Cutie Mark: Snowy Fields cutie mark is a cluster of icicles surrounding a dark blue star with the tips facing out. He received it at an early age during a lesson on magic when he learned he could cast advanced ice and frost magic with ease compared to other types of magic.

Personality: Snowy Fields is strong-willed, ruthless to his enemies, and a fanatic to his cause. He is a respecter of rank and order meaning that he will follow any of his superior's orders without question unless he suspects them of heresy. He has a tendency to be a Unicorn Supremacist but often questions whether or not Unicorns are inherently superior to Earth Ponies or Pegasi. Despite not knowing how to handle foals he has a soft spot for them (regardless of their lineage) and will attempt to treat them well.

Backstory: Snowy Fields was born in Canterlot to Unicorn nobility. He was the second born twin, as such his birth parents wanted to avoid any sort of internal struggle over succession. Ever the money-minded individual his Father decided to approach a less fortunate noble family with a deal. After all a pure blood Unicorn infant would be considered "priceless" by those nobles that are cursed with the inability to have their own children. To allow both families to keep their reputation this deal was made in secret. However, it would cost Summer Rose and Winter Chill almost all of their assets and wealth. The only other requirement being that Snowy Fields would never learn who his biological parents should he seek an inheritance.<br /><br />Summer Rose and Winter Chill agreed. Having given up nearly all they had for a child of their own, Snowy's family were reduced to being Nobility in name only. Focusing on maintaining their public appearance they had Snowy tutored by the best scholars they could afford. It was revealed to him at an early age that Snowy had been adopted from another Noble family, though they would not mention which. His parents made it quite clear that until Snowy proved himself worthy of the sacrifices they had made for him their relationship would be more like that of business partners rather than family. Upon realizing how much they must have sacrificed to have an heir Snowy Fields decided to live up to their expectations. He would do this by attaining the most prestigious position he could think of, leader of Celestia's own guard. After all what greater honor is there than protecting the Princess herself? This helped to give Snowy Fields a long term goal and the motivation to try and fulfill it.<br /><br />Snowy Fields sacrificed most of his social life to ensure that he would be the best both physically and mentally among his peers. He spent most of his time studying anything and everything he could and when he wasn't studying he was training in combat to prepare for a life in the military. As such he did not have the time to make any more than a small amount of friends.<br /><br />There were a few other Unicorns and prodigies that would perform better than him. However, Snowy Fields was usually near the top of his age group. As was customary for his family Snowy joined Equestria's military as soon as he was able to. Snowy Fields was just one of a number of recruits trained by Captain Shining Armor. While in the military he rarely made any lasting relationships.
