Species: Other Pony (Crystal, Bat, etc.)

Appearance: <p> Sonar is a Thestral or otherwise known as a Bat-pony with Dark Blue blue/Light Purple bat wings to match, with slightly longer fur at the ears, fangs, and yellow eyes with slits for pupils. He is slightly above the average height of a stallion with a leaner athletic build common among well trained flyers. His coat is a light gray and his mane dark/light purple. </p>

Cutie Mark: <p> His cutie mark is three silver crescents facing toward his front, it represents his exceptional hearing ability (even for a bat pony) which he got when he saved a filly from being trapped in a collapsed cave. </p>

Personality: <p> He is introverted and not very out-going at first but can warm up to other ponies. He can typically be found in good spirits and when interested in the topic can become quite energetic. With the few he gets close to as friends he tends to be playful/goofy. He can also tend to hide his emotions from others and put up a pretty decent false smile/happiness when troubled. When there is an important task at hand he switches into a more serious/focused demeanor. Other than that he can be fairly spaced out/scatterbrained at times, though he can (rarely) show through some wisdom/intelligence. </p>

Backstory: <p> (WIP) </p> <p> Born in the caves near the pony city of Baltimare, he was the youngest brother of three siblings. Being from there, his family had a long standing history of being lunar guards and along with it a reverence for Princess Luna. Spending most of his childhood there he aspired to be a lunar guard just as his siblings went on to do, though not without his troubles. When he first began flight school, he was decent at flying but sucked at flying in the dark (a bat pony specialty) as he had a hard time focusing on both at the same time. Though after the filly went missing, he found it within himself to push past his limits and soon realized his exceptional talent at it after he found the missing filly. After he got older and tired of his home, he made his trip to Canterlot to try out for the illustrious Lunar guard... </p>
