Appearance: An older looking filly, with serious deep eyes and a longish mane. She prefers to wear a cape on her back at all times where she keeps most of her stuff.
Cutie Mark: Her cutie mark is a multicolored vortex, implying her talent – highly unstable magic. While she can use an array of magic with high efficiency, it always can backfire from mild to horrendous scales.
Personality: Spell is a snarky filly, an independent soul with its own ideals and views on the world. While not being very friendly most of the time she can be a good friend and her magical knowledge leaves a mysterious note on her personality, to the point when she can talk in riddles and act like a complete weirdo.
While not stupid, she does lack some certainty self-restrain while talking with people she despites or dislikes. She can be a charming talker or a major pain in the ass, depending on her mood.
Backstory: Spell was born in the loving family of two unicorns, who always took good care of her. Growing up, she could not wonder about all the potential the world around her was hiding from her, what was beyond the veil of clouds and many other things. Growing up, a lot happened to her, from little events, up to some which would leave a mark on her. Notable one would be her being out alone in the field during thunderstorm, witnessing all the destructive power of the storm. It forever etched in her mind, which way of magic she wanted to pursue.
Every day since then, she would with the help of her parents master the magic of thunder. Being one of the hardest to master at times, maybe second hardest to water, it was as low process but satisfying none the least. Years passed and so eventually her parents who weren’t the youngest of ponies passed away from illness, Spell, being pretty independent at this point would honor them and move on, leaving her home behind, just as it would be.
Eventually she would make her way around, traveling and studying the world, only eventually coming back home to leave some flowers on her parents resting spot.
During this time she found a wonderful companion in the face of her pet phoenix, Daawn. A peace of eternal ice, cut and etched into a beautiful statue of phoenix, brought to life with a bolt of misfired lightning. Perhaps one of the best magical mistakes she ever made.
Right now, Spell’s future is probably tied close to the house Moon and Star, being a promising magical talent.
