Appearance: Star Crest is of regular build for a pegasus mare, though with more toned muscle from years of training. She has a dark navy coat and salmon-pink eyes. Her mane and tail are ginger, the former reaching down past her shoulders with a fringe going toward the left, and the latter having a couple of curls.<br /><br />Nearly all the time, she wears the uniform of the Celestial Paladins; a white and gold lightweight suit of armour, with a purple cape. The armour's chest shows the emblem of the knight order; a pair of crossed swords in front of a star. She very seldom wears a helmet.

Cutie Mark: Her cutie mark is a fiery sword in front of a sunrise. It represents her passion and fiery spirit, as well as her skills with swordfighting, while the sunrise represents her bright personality behind her professional appearance.

Personality: Star is a determined and confident mare, with a fiery attitude. If she sees any injustice, she is likely to step in and say something.<br /><br />She is fiercely loyal to the Princesses, but she is not afraid to oppose her superiors to do what she thinks is right.<br /><br />When off duty, she's a lot more loose and free to enjoy herself, and enjoys having a fly around.

Backstory: Star Crest is the older sister of Cobalt Flicker, born to a Royal Guard soldier and the owner of a magic curiosity shop. She always held her father in high regard, and as a filly she made a vow that she'd join the Royal Guard when she was older, just like him.<br /><br />She would practice and train in her foalhood, eventually moving from a wooden toy sword to a proper steel blade when she managed to enlist to the Guard in her late teens.<br /><br />In fact, her stellar skill with the weapon, on top of her strong sense of justice and service to the community, had her approached by Princess Celestia herself to join an elite splinter group known as the Celestial Paladins, reserved only for the best fighters and mages. If the Elements of Harmony could not answer a call, the Paladins would instead.
