Personality: Starbolt has a very happy, upbeat personality. She doesn't like to let life get her down.

Backstory: She was adopted at a young age. Her real parents were killed in an accident while they were all out on a family outing in the mountains (rock slide), and she was hurt badly while they tried to protect her. Starbolt recovered from her life-threatening injuries, but was left with a permanent neurological condition that affected her coordination which directly results in her clumsiness and a lack of ability to strongly fly when she was little. It's gotten a bit better with age, but she's still really clumsy. She got picked on a lot for it in school but her adoptive parents taught her to always try and find the light in darkness, so she never let the teasing get her down. She was called flightless, klutz, all kinds of name, but instead of letting it get her down she was going to prove them wrong. She accepted she was clumsy, but she wanted to prove she could be a strong flier. So she strengthened her wings, worked them out all the time. She wanted to reach the speeds the Wonderbolts could reach; fast enough to leave trails behind them as they flew. She wanted to chase the stars. So she got stronger, and finally one year, on the night that the stars fall just before the yearly harvest of the zap apples, she did. She chased those falling stars, and flew so fast she caused a sonic starboom; like a sonic rainboom, but instead of a rainbow circle it would look like a circle of stars. She earned her cutie mark that day; a golden star with a streaking blue bolt as a tail, hence Starbolt. Now, all grown up, she's an athlete; not a runner, but a flier in all sorts of race competitions, and she's won several medals and trophies. The necklace she wears is a gift from her adoptive parents; a good luck charm.
