Cutie Mark: A shooting star in front of a bunch of shining stars. Her mark symbolises her natural ability to learn and use magic easily just like her mother but also her ability to create a small star to illuminate a area.

Personality: She is very kind and friendly but als very free spirited and can sometimes goof off. She has many friends including those that are the children of the other mane 6. She tends to read a lot when she's got free time learning new spells. But she is always up for doing something new and exciting with her friends.

Backstory: Born to Thunder Wing (Alicorn) and Twilight Sparkle in Ponyville. She lives in the Library with her parents which since her birth had gotten an upgrade. Her aunt and uncle: Shining Armor and Cadence have always cared for her deeply. When she was 5 she became good friends with the rest of the Mane 6 children and was immediately put to the enterance exam for Celestias School for Gifted Fillies. Durring the exam her power was released in a massive blast blacking out the sun. In panick she used her powers and created a star that illuminated Equestria until Celestia brought back the suns light and warmth. Once Twilight got her under control Starlight refused the school saying that she would rather be with her friends in normal school in Ponyville. <br /><br />At the age of 7 she still was having trouble flying until her father took her to Cloudsdale for training. While there one of the young pegasai who also couldn't fly fell through a thin cloud. Without thinking Starlight jumped after him catching him and flying him back up to Cloudsdale just in time. It was only after she got him to safety did Thunder point out that she was flying.<br /><br />An agreement was made that Starlight would attend the school in Ponyville and get Magic training from Celestia as well as her mother. At 10 she had learned a various ammount of spells including her mothers teleportation spell. While visiting her uncle Shining Armor she was usually having fun with her cousin but when she had time she was getting training in combat from him.<br /><br />Now 14 she is still a bit of a goof off but takes her studies more seriously. She currently has no special somepony although it's not like no colt has tried to win her over. She loves going to school even though her only favorite teacher was Cheerilee.
