Appearance: Starlight is a female pegasus. She has a purple coat that is short and well managed. She has a flowing pink to blue gradient mane, it is well looked after. (Accept a flick that will not brush out!)Her eyes are bright indigo, she has a star shine in her eye.

Cutie Mark: [IMG]http://i.imgur.com/0iYoiif.png[/IMG]<br /><br />Her cutie mark is a cloud and within that cloud is a constellation of a thunder bolt.<br /><br />She got this cutie mark for being the first pony ever to discover a constellation, she saw a thunderbolt on in the sky, she marked it down and her cutie appeared.

Personality: Starlight is strong but silent type, she hates the sound of her own voice. She enjoys listening to music as she studies the stars. Most of the time she is in her observatory, she does not particularly like social situations. Though she is quiet the only time she feels like she can talk is in class, she is very clever and as she calls herself 'A super geek'. Though she is clever in the classroom she hates exams, she is always to tense and she hates staying in the same place!

Backstory: Starlight was born and raised in Cloudale, her parents were just ordinary pegasi, after a few years Starlight decided the flight camps were not her style. So soon enough she packed her bags and traveled down to down to Trottingham, when she was there she looked upon the sky and saw how pretty it looked she decided to build a an observatory to watch the stars. As well as helping her get to sleep she soon discovered pictures and the first was a thunderbolt, she wrote down the dimensions of the stars and soon enough spread the word. Other ponies soon started to make up their own constellations. After becoming a constallationist she soon got money for her job and ponies soon wanted there own constellation and they bought their own constellations. As the money came flooding in Starlight settled down. Though her observatory is still preserved and used for stargazing. Starlight built a cottage behind her observatory while she lives her retired life. She still stargazes though but more as a hobby...
