Appearance: Blue, with a ginger mane. Her eyes are royal blue, with freckles under them.

Cutie Mark: Her cutie mark is an image of a bright yellow star, with smaller, bright blue stars surrounding it. It symbolizes her love for astrology, and her fascination with Celestia and Luna.

Personality: Starlit is generally shy and reclusive, tending to stay within her own house. During the nighttime, you can often spot her out on her stargazing balcony. However, she opens up around Pinkie Pie, able to laugh and joke. She has a bit of a sweet tooth, though, so she makes trips to Sugar Cube Corner quite frequently. She is not a filly, yet she is not a full grown pony. She looks up to the Mane 6, as well as others, as they have had the chance to meet Celestisia and Luna. She lives in her house with her little sister. She is a proficient magic caster, though has trouble with casting spells like teleport, or with levitating heavy objects.

Backstory: Starlit's father was named Bright Day, and had the rare chance to work with Celestia. Her mother was Shooting Star, who was an astronomer, who taught Starlit all about astronomy. They originally lived in Canterlot, but moved to Ponyville when Starlit was 11. She has since made good friends with Pinkie. Bright was a member of the Ponyville guard, and died while defending against Nightmare Moon. Shooting Star then went missing under unknown circumstances a year later.
