Personality: bookworm, curious about spells, shy, easy to apologize.

Backstory: Starry was born during an eclipse and suffered from a condition that made her unable to withstand any bright light, able to see without any light. Her parents and twin brother, Dark, watched out for her. She had to wear protection from the sun and its light. The other ponies would talk when they thought she couldn’t hear them, saying to she’s a vampire or another creature of the night. She would come home miserable and Dark would come in, sit next to her, and cheer her up.<br /> She stopped going outside after a few years of being called evil. Her parents tried to get her out of the house more, but that made it grow worse. She locked her door and wouldn’t talk to her parent, the only she told them was that they didn’t understand her and only her brother did. They spent years keeping each other company. He would run to the Library and gather up stuff that Starry needed. <br />One day he came home with a strange book. The book was black with a silver lace around the spine with no name or picture on the front or back. She opened it up to see a bunch of spells that weren’t in the other books that she read. After reading a few spells, she wanted to try them, so she went up to her parent and cast one of the spells. The spell wrapped around her parents and started turning them into crystals. When she saw what was going on, she stopped the spell and ran to her room, leaving her parents unable to move or feel anything. Her brother came started comforting her, saying that they are fine, just going to have crystallized hooves for now on. Then she noticed her cutie mark after her brother left, and thought it was some sick joke. <br />Her brother came back from the Library to tell her that the book wasn’t the library’s. She kept the book but was worried about using any of the spells. After a year, the temptation got the best of her, and she took the book, her cloak, and a mask hide help with the light and left. She looked at the map that she stole and decided to head to badlands to avoid hurting anypony until she learned what the spell do. As she did the spells, she noticed that her skin grew darker, her eye color was getting darker and that she was getting used to the spells. <br />After a few months of being away from civilization, she walked into the nearest town and almost jumped out of her skin when she saw Dark looking around. She disappeared into the crowd and ran out of the town
