Appearance: Dark gray with a navy blue mane, Steady Hoof it of average build and height. His mane is shaggy and parted to one side covering part of his left eye and ending with a slight curl.

Cutie Mark: A crosshair on a heart.<br /><br />Not only is Steady Hoof a great shot due to his steady aim and keen eyesight, but he is also a good flirt and friend, giving his cutie mark a sort of dual meaning. He earned his cutiemark helping a friend in a tight situation.

Personality: Steady is a very reserved and quiet person until he gets to know others. Once he gets to know the ponies he's with he opens up and can be a very funny, outgoing pony. He takes his role as sniper very seriously and will become annoyed with himself if he misses.<br />Steady prefers to handle his sniper with his hooves instead of magic. He reserves his magic for adjusting his scope and pulling the trigger.

Backstory: Steady was born in Stable 32. The Stable was filled to the brim with various types of guns, from pistols to laser rifles. Life was peaceful in the Stable, kids learning to shoot, the clinking of guns being taken apart and put back together, the quiet stability maintained throughout the Community. Then somebody proposed the door be opened. Ponies felt confied and restricted. So the door was opened but with one rule: the stable would become a hub for trade. Thus began Stable 32's gun running career.<br /><br />Steady was born once the door was open. He was head of his class in gun maintenance and accuracy. The one thing he was bottom of the class in was diversity. Most of the foals in his clas could weild a decent amount of guns with average proficiency, but Steady could only weild a few. Energy weapons were too odd and sporadic for his taste so Steady limited himself to conventional weapons. He was below average with any automatic and couldn't handle anything heavy. It was with strong, single shot weapons that Steady Hoof excelled. He felt comfortable weilding pistols and was decent with hunting rifles, but whn he picked up the Sniper, Steady felt at home. He felt a purpose.<br /><br />When he went to the testing facility to test his skill with the sniper, Steady naturally lay down with the sniper in front of him, bipod set, ready to fire. Unlike most unicorns, he held the gun in his hooves, focusing his magic on the scope and the trigger. Once he felt like everything was adjusted, he fired the gun. Hooves became a legend to his classmates over night. He stayed at the training facility shooting at targets till dawn, never straying from the bullseye. He took apart the gun and put it back together in near record times.<br /><br />Then everything changed when the Stable was attacked. (Cause screw you, that's the best I can come up with right now!)<br /><br />A rival band of gun runners attacked the Stable while everyone was asleep. It had been a few days since Steady's performance in the facility. His class was in the gun room picking out the weapons they wanted for their birthdays and the parts they wanted to use to modify them. They locked them selves in the gun closet and waited for the commotion to end before rushing to the entrance. Once escaped, the group set off to find what they wanted to do. Some left the group and others died, and the size of the group dwindled until Steady was all alone. That is where the adventure of Steady Hoof, wasteland sniper and loner begins.<br /><br /><br />Cutie Mark Story: During the raid on his Stable, a friend of Steady was taken by on of the assaulters. Steady had to either take a very improbable shot that could have killed his friend or let the attacker kill his friend. Steady took the shot, missing his friends heart by millimeters, saving his life.
