Cutie Mark: Storming Star's cutie mark is a shooting star flying across a thunder cloud. This could have some kind of deeper personal meaning, but it mainly represents the event in which he received. He hopes to learn more about it through study.

Personality: Storming Star is oddly shy, timid, and sad for the most part. Despite his species, his job, and his happy life, he is largely pessimistic and barely ever talks because he doesn't feel that there is much of anything meaningful to say. In the moments that he does, he speaks clearly but quietly, and knows what he's talking about. He isn't mean to anypony, but can get angry with certain provocation. When he is alone, he does have some darker qualities and in some roleplay scenarios can be evil, but he is not normally malicious. The few friends he makes are sure to be close considering his status as an introvert. Since he does struggle with depression and low self esteem he gets along better with supportive ponies, but rarely complains and doesn't ask for help.

Backstory: Storming Star was born and raised in Cloudsdale, and grew to love the sky and the clouds quite easily. He was born into the middle class, which gave him no real reason to be sad at a young age although he had hopes for wealth. Growing up he was sometimes made fun of, but his intelligence earned him some respect. His cutie mark was earned during a rarely occurring meteor shower, in which he played a major part in preventing a storm which would stop ponies from seeing the event. When he became old enough, he got a job in the weather factory. Although he had a passion for the job, some of his shyness was hindering important work, and he was forced to leave. He left his home and traveled around Equestria looking for a job, but he was still too inexperienced to be an efficient worker. Because of this he decided to stay in Canterlot for a while and study. He learned much more about flying, weather, cosmic events, magic, and trained himself to be a bit more social. After a year or so Storming Star found his place in (location of roleplay) where he found his job in manipulating the weather and was able to make a few friends.
