Appearance: An older pony, but extremely tall by pony standards and still has a very muscular frame. Has a white coat with a green mane and hazel eyes. Many scars accumulated from past military service, with one going longways on the right side of his face. Always has a passive look with a smile, unless threatened. He prides himself on his long beard.

Personality: Easy going and very lovable. Loves to make small talk with customers at his blacksmith forge. Very protective of the ones he loves. Often plays the peacemaker when he sees an argument and has incurred alot of wisdom in his life. He hates fighting, but will put his armor on if called to service.

Backstory: He was once a feared and respected lieutenant in the griffon campaign 19 years ago. Due to his tall and muscular physique, he donned heavy armor and carried a sword that was almost as big as himself. When the fighting seemed like it would never end and both sides sought peace ( it was a territory dispute, as the mountain that the ponies claimed was sacred to griffons) he was the soldier who, alongside his general, drafted the agreement that both sides signed, and helped to forge a deep friendship between griffon and pony. With the war over, he returned home to open a blacksmith forge and eventually started a family. His wife, moon gem bore him one colt, whom he named iron will. He trained his son in black smithing and in the fighting style of a one-hoof straight sword. He and his son have many sparring matches, and coincidently, strong iron has never lost a bout with his colt, but dreams someday that, even though he hopes there is never another war, that his son will grow into an even better warrior than he was back then.
