Appearance: Creme, light gray socks. Straw colored hair and tail, tail has a grey patch.

Cutie Mark: Grey Cloud with a white lightning bolt.

Personality: Summer is a witty, resourceful out of the box thinker, that just can't stand ponies with low IQ's or that are stubborn as mules. She is reluctant to meet others, likes to have the social door opened for her so to speak. Has a abject fear of lightning that she is not controlling due to her trauma. Is quite lazy when she has finished her work or even before she is due to start. Loves to sleep and sing when she's not sleeping. Then to socialize with her friends, which can involve her going to said house and doing the cooking as well has a habit of using oranges in her cooking or citrus when she can't get any. Once you get her into a debate on a subject regardless or what it is she'll argue with you till next year even when blissfully unaware of the content she is arguing about, idolizes her leaders, (Princesses) and her head weather pony Rainbow Dash.<br /> <br />When Summer is not working or sleeping or socializing, she tries to constantly volunteer for other things that need doing or somepony needs help with (more excuse to join variety of RP's). As she loves to keep busy when she is not doing any other of her activities as she tends to get bored, which lead to her preforming pranks and other bad or socially poor actions. Actions she will later regret regardless of how small and harmless they are. Can and will get over emotional with certain ponies or actions or events and can lose her temper or composure when things get intense for her. If she can't find something to do she'll either ask for more work shifts or read something although she is not really a reader so it's a time passer than anything else. Dose on occasion get nostalgic for home once in a while and will return to see her family via Cloudsdale, then may go on to the Crystal Empire to visit or sell goods (more openings for me :D).<br /><br />Likes: Clouds, sleeping, socializing, debating, singing, cooking, working.<br /><br />Dislikes: other's laziness, being tired, simpletons, snobs, upper class, bad singing, being pranked.<br />

Backstory: Summer was born in Orange Re-bout, a small orange farm south west of the Equestria, (orange version essentially of the apples) to her mother Sweet Orange and her father Navel Orange both Earth Ponies. To there surprise they had a Pegasus so the named her officially Summer Sun Cloud Orange, latter in life Summer dropped the Orange and Sun part to call herself Summer Cloud. Summer started life as any of her brother and sisters would have (she has 3 brothers and 2 sisters all Earth ponies) raised to a young age then shown how to farm and to help with the harvests. However to eveyponies disappointment she just could not buck, this failure filled her with determination and purpose to help her family, which led to her seeking permission to go to Cloudsdale and learn how to be a great weather pony. Her parents reluctant to send her away were convinced in the end when she said that this is what she wanted to do. (Roughly from ages 0-7)<br /> <br />Summer was sent to Cloudsdale to live with a family friend who had worked at the farm for many years and now had retired to Cloudsdale to see out his remaining years. Summer knew her caretaker as Sleeping Clouds, however everypony just called him Sleepy, Summer attended flight school for fillies (insert school name here), where she learn't about everything to do with being both a Pegasus and a weather pony. Made many good friends and gained her cutie mark in her finale year. That fateful day nearly saw Summers young life come to a end when she was hit by a lightning strike during an exam by another classmate while she was waiting for others to finish, the strike not only gave her here cutie mark but burned a section of her tail dark grey, which she can't dye over either. Summer then gained an affinity to manipulate storm clouds much more effectively than most (only applies to storm clouds, everything else she's normal), Summer then returned home to Orange Grove to help her family on the farm. (ages 7-16)<br /> <br />Summer was received with open hooves by her family. However something was not right for Summer and as a few years past she decided, that her place was no longer in Orange Grove. She wanted to help others and believed that because her family was doing fine before she was born and well when she was gone she wanted to help others that may need her. "There are always a need for weather ponies." So after a long farewell Summer returned to Cloudsdale were she went to the Pegasus weather pony center and was given a location to go and live and work at. That fateful town was Ponyville a small village that she knew nothing about and in fact took her a few days to find for the first time, getting lost trying to find it. Until she did, she then talked to the Mare and her cousins Emerald Bolt and Sapphire and was given cloud space to make her home to the West of Ponyville where still lives to this day. (ages 17-current) (vampire optional): was hit by a strike from Facade a fatal attack, Crescent 'embrassed' her making her in her own image and has been teaching her since the event.
