Personality: Sunray Caramel used to be a shy and spry young colt, happy as could be. Once time had gotten the best of him, however, he became a stern and hard old stallion. He never makes himself vulnerable for he has always had to be strong for the ones he love of whom he takes great pride in.

Backstory: Sunray Caramel was born and raised in small town just outside Los Pegasus more than 40 years ago, growing up in an enormous family with almost 12 brothers and sisters. They had all worked the farm growing up...but none as much as Sunray. He loved the country life: the starry skies, the crickets and the lightning bugs, the country festivals, the small towns. Pappy wouldn't want to live any other way...till there was a parade of Celestia's guard in town. That was the night when he met Constella. She was the most beautiful mare he had ever laid eyes on...and she was a heck of a warrior too. Something about the thought of adventure piqued his interest in her and she always was so nice to him...and somewhat flirtatious. The poor lovestruck stallion followed Constella all across Equestria and was always there for her. Of course Sunray missed his home...but Constella was worth it. Finally the day came when Constella decided to settle down after a close accident with some changelings....and Sunray knew just the place. He ended up bringing Constella to Appleloosa where they began building a new farm: Caramel Orchards. It wasn't long before Constella and Sunray had their first child. Sunray always felt he had to carry the burden of his family who he loved more than life itself. It made him hard and stern...almost judgemental...but every so often, the young Sunray would shine through. It was especially hard when the droughts came...and the railroads. Sunray despised the railroads...he even knocked the far out a couple of their ponies they had sent to him in the fields to try and purchase the farm. He had hoped that would keep them away...but it didn't. Surprising enough, it was his three amazing children that saved Caramel Orchards...Sunray was a proud stallion. His family, of who he worked hard to protect and raise, ended up protecting him. Every night, he thanks Celestia for them...not knowing what he would of done or who he would have been without them.
