Personality: Sunset is a shy pony, she doesn't mingle with large groups often, but will when the occasion calls for it. She loves to bring joy to her friends and family by bringing the warm glow of the sunset into their lives with her enchanted candles.

Backstory: Sunset's family originated from a small village outside of Dodge City. She grew up in a fairly normal environment, and was lucky enough to befriend a rather unique individual who showed up at random one day. He was a well traveled unicorn for only being in his teen years. His name was Midnight Scribbler, and he had a lot of knowledge to share, which Sunset soaked in like a sponge. Eventually, Scribbler left the town, but promised to return one day. Sunset had spent many weeks learning about magic with him, and began to experiment on her own, finding that she could capture certain emotions and energy with her magic. Over time, she learned that she could imbue these energies within things, such as a stone or a leaf. On her 15th birthday, Sunset had become fairly practiced in her abilities, yet still lacked direction. But it was on this day that she discovered her true talent. She managed to capture the glow of a beautiful sunset with her magic, and imbued it into a candle. It began as a mere experiment, but when the candle was later lit, it shone with the same brilliance and magnitude as the setting sun. With that moment, her cutie mark appeared, the image of a setting sun.<br /><br />Sunset Glow is now known for a variety of different candles, containing enchantments for various purposes. She's an enchantress, but certainly not an evil one. She uses her magic for healing, soothing nerves and aiding in relaxation and sleep. Her work is known throughout the city by any spa or massage parlor goers. She also owns her own shop, where she sells her candles called "Magic Wax Works."
