Appearance: A deep royal blue in color with a built more like his unicorn kind, the young explore is a earth pony with solid hooves and the strength of one but very tall for his kind.

Cutie Mark: Tao has a talent for always finding his when lost or the unseen path and going with the flow in life. Living much up to his name and mark. This stallion never gets lost and finds his way out of any and also for his friends.

Personality: A kind of go with the flow and a out going type, this pony gets along with mostly any type or race buts hates bullies and lies. It has often been his curiosity nature and drive to find and explore that lead Tao to being a part time explore. Given his talent to find any path has lead the young stallion to move around a bit. One trait he has is empathy , but also a bit of a methodical thinker on the side and does not jump to any choice with out thinking out on every fact he can get. The bad thing is that Tao also can dip into deep moments of depression and worry if hit with too many winds at once but he loves and loyal to his friends and to those he thinks are worth the time.

Backstory: Tao is a member and descents of the Moon clan, a clan of unicorns that live in Canterlot and have connections to the Royal Courts along with the Star clans. Very rare is it from a Mare of noble blood to step outside her station but a one night stand and living in the wild side can happen and Lullaby did such a thing with Steel, a smith from Iron Hills and Garnet Town, small town in the border with the Griffon Kingdom. Well come around a few months, Tao is born into the Moon clans but he lacks being a unicorn and much of the family would shun such a male to be born but he is well loved by his mother and his older sister Trixie. Tao may lack in the magic but it runs in his blood and along with his sharp and bright mind with some help with his sister, the male takes to a bright future and falls in love with the unknown history and myths of the world. <br /><br />Some years later, Tao spends his time between exploring myths and rumors and on the side teaching as a Profiler in Canterlot on the History of his kingdom yet it is upon a letter from a friend of his that finds the young stallion north in the Iron Mountains, in a gave with little to his way of food but something he had never found, in a cave he found a history of Equestria and of a culture predating the Princess and the Gathering of pony kind....<br /><br />What to do? Such a thing had never been found in any reports or history Tao had seen but it demanding his full on attentions. Making a choice to move to Granite town, the young teacher took to the hidden valleys and mountains paths to find more out about the lost history of these lands!<br />
