Appearance: Dark teal body with a long, wine colored mane with teal highlights. She wears light blue cats eye glasses that match her eye and hoof color. She's short and a bit pudgey

Cutie Mark: A quill and bottle of ink, she spends much of her time writing.

Personality: She tends to keep to herself, doesn't talk much, and portrays a self assured aura. When she does talk, it's often to make either snarky remarks, or clever observations. She can be a bit vain, often stopping to observe her own appearance. She's extremely logical and often doesn't understand emotion. She's very concise. She does like interacting with other ponies, but prefers to do so in small groups. She has a thirst for knowledge, and has been to college to grow, learn, and become more social.

Backstory: Raised out in the country on a farm with only her family around, Terse (who also goes by Tranq) spent most of her time by herself. She's moved to a more populated area, but still likes to pass the time alone. She's always been fascinated by other ponies, and so has become a writer to further explore relationships without ever having to interact with anypony else. She decided to attend college at Vanhoover. One evening after studying for finals and being awake for eighteen hours, she had a stroke of genius for a story. She was exhausted, and needed sleep before a big test the next day, but instead wrote the outline for said story, and collapsed into bed. She didn't realize she had gotten her cutie mark until one of her friends in class pointed it out.<br /> <br />In school, Tranq was a beacon of knowledge for her classmates. Although not outstanding in magic, her other classmates looked to her because she retained information extremely well. She was proud of herself for this, but the attention made her uncomfortable. After she graduated, her family asked her to move back home. While she missed them, she decided to move instead to Ponyville to pursue her passion of writing.<br /><br />Although Vanhoover was a beautiful area that she had many a school aged adventure at, but once she graduated she wanted to settle down. Once she moved to Ponyville she found herself invigorated by the beauty of the area, finding her muse in nature rather than in other ponies. She can often be found at Sugarcube Corner writing furiously and drinking tea.
