Appearance: <p> The Blade of Darkness's Blight is a sword made of an extremely durable metal (Which is imbued with magic.) The hilt of the sword has a purple gemstone embedded in the pommel and is carved from a wood from an old and strong tree. The sword's blade glows a bright light when near particularly evil beings, (And it lights up slightly when drawn in a dark place) oddly enough, the sword glows blue in the presence of lawyers. </p>

Personality: <p> Although The Blade of Darkness's Blight is just a sword, inside it is the spirit of a great hero who once fought in one of the great wars many centuries ago. As such, the sword can sometimes "Mentally Talk" To whoever is wielding it at the time. The Spirit is quite sarcastic and has a hatred for lawyers. </p>

Backstory: <p> Long, Long ago, before the Equestria we know and love started prospering, the world was invaded by dark forces. Among those who fought against these evil forces, two heroes were quite notable. These were Hovedperson McGuffin and Jennifer Lightbringer, an Earth Pony and Unicron. When Jennifer succumbed to a particularly nasty wound, she used her magic to transfer her consciousness into a gemstone. That gemstone was then used in the making of a new blade, which (due to the high amounts of magic) gained the ability to fight back the darkness and restore peace to Equestria.  </p> <p> When Hovedperson McGuffin grew old, he removed Jennifer's stone from the sword and sealed it away, for his descendant to find, and passed the blade down for generations and generations until it found it's way into the scrawny hooves of Mike Mcguffin. At that time, the blade was chipped and rusted. When Mike McGuffin joined the two parts together, the sword regained it's magic and became the great sword it one was. </p> <p>   </p>
