Personality: He rarely talks. He is calm, kind, but when something needs to be done...he will always try his hardest to complete his task's.
He has always been more of a follower rather than a leader.

Backstory: Kichirou grew up with his sister and spent his whole childhood with her. She was his one of his only friends and she was his best friend, It was rare they got into fights and when they did it would be a simple argument that would usually end with a hug and some tea.

When he turned eight however...the fun ended and he was sent off to become a Bushicolt.
He was reluctant to leave his sister but it was his destiny and he knew nothing he said would be able to stop his Destiny...not even family.

He spent about two years of constant training, and he did not quite like it. Not a day went by where he didn't think about home and his sister.

Kichirou was not enjoying his training. No matter what he did all he could think about was home...until one day when he discovered his talent for Music. He was always told by his master that music was a pointless skill and he should focus on battles and fighting...he said those were more important, but to Kichirou Music was the most important thing in the world...next to his sister of course.

One sunny day Kichirou was off exploring the grounds around his school.
He was on his way back when he noticed an odd looking...something.
He attempted to reach it but ended up slipping into the river. He ran back to the school now soaking wet and was scolded. He was told never to go back there again. But for the next day he found his mind wondering back to that spot next to the river and longed to go back there and see what that thing was.

It was that night when he decided he would go check it out, rules or no rules, he needed to know.

He left late that night and went back to the river, this time being much more careful crossing.

after a few minutes of searching, he found it. He used his magic to levitate it across the river and to his surprise it was a shamisen...in perfect condition too. He thought he should leave it there...maybe somepony dropped it, but he couldn't let go...he had to have it...it was his.

And with that, he went back to the school like nothing had ever happened.

Most of the other students would go off and play games during their free time but Kichirou would spend his free time playing his shamisen...literally, that is all he did. He would often stay up the whole night just playing music.

Eventually when he was around twelve he got himself a Koto from one of the older teachers named Hiromasa.
Hiromasa had always encouraged Kichirou to play music, He knew that Kichirou had a gift and he wasn't going to let the other teacher's tell Kichirou that music was pointless.

Kichirou continued playing His shamisen and koto for the rest of his time at the school training colts like himself to become a Bushicolt.

During the last year or so of his training he often lost focus which means he payed the price. One day while he was training with one of the other soon to be Bushicolts his mind started to wonder, he was thinking about music and instruments he had always wanted to play when he got a long deep cut down his right eye.
Since then he focused more on his training and became one of the better fighters...but that doesn't mean he stopped playing music.

Finally, on his sixteenth birthday he got to leave the school and travel home to his sister.
After unpacking his things and whatnot him and his sister spent the whole day together, talking about how their classes have been going until...they discovered that they both had a unique musical talent.

After not even a day, they had began writing a piece of music they called "Fujiwaran Requiem" It was about the dishonourable death of the daimyo of the Fujiwara clan. His sister did most if not all of the writing and he played it on his shamisen.

The day after Kichirou had arrived home him and his sister got the new's that that the Fujiwara daimyo had died in his sleep of a heart attack.
Kichirou spent the next week worried about what may happen...until it did happen.
Late one night Kichirou and his sister were woken by a retainer who reported that their father had been killed by a Fujiwaran assassin and that their mother had committed suicide out of grief.

Before Kichirou could take his rightful place on the throne of the clan, the Emperor, with Fujiwara backing, exiled the Taira clan from Neighpan, threatening them with death should they ever be seen again. The remnants of the Taira clan had no choice, and chartered a ship to Saddle Arabia.

Kichirou wanted to leave with his sister as soon as possible...until one morning.
He woke up to find that the Fujiwara clan perished in a fire, and the Emperor was stabbed muliple times in the heart and left to bleed to death in the streets.

Since almost the whole Taira clan had left Neighpan Kichirou and his sister didn't have anything left there, so they left Neighpam and sailed to Saddle Arabia.

Kichirou spent the days traveling playing music, just random tunes he came up with. All was well until he noticed the change in his sister. She was always wearing robes and was never seen without them. He questioned her about it but she refused to answer...which never happened, they were as close and brother and sister could be but she still never told him why she chose to cover herself up.

After arrival in Saddle Arabia, the pair of them set about wandering the world together, without aim or purpose. Kichirou followed his sister, often asking where she planned on going only to find out that she had no plan...they just walked.

Noticing his sister's strange behavior Kichirou begged her to find a place to settle down. She reluctantly agreed and they found a place to stay in a land called Equestria.

Over the next very very long time Kichirou discovered that his talent for music could be taken to a whole knew level, he actually managed to control other ponies through music...and if him and his sister worked together to create a piece, they could practically blow up buildings.

It was when Kichirou and his sister were somewhere in their sixties Kirichou discovered that they didn't seem to be ageing, for some reason, he found himself just as strong and powerful as he was forty years ago.

After some time, Kichirou followed his sister out into the world for the second time. The pair lived in seclusion for 600 years, spending most of the time in a sort of hibernation between periods in history. The duo left their mark in every civilization, creating conspiracy theories and wild accusations generated by actions that were really the result of notes on a stave.

It was one day when Kichirou's sister explained to him that they couldn't be the only ponies with this kind of talent...there had to be more.
So, like he always did, Kichirou followed his sister in search for others.

After many many many years of searching, they found them.
There was the Artist, with his crazed grin and ability to make his canvases real, or perhaps more sinisterly, trap ponies within them; the Storyteller, who could conjure monstrous creatures of legend with a word, as if straight from the tales of old; and finally the Dancer, who's graceful dance moves both captivated and deceived, concealing the deadly warrior within that was a product of swordsmanship and dance.
It was Kichirou's sister who gave him the name The Musician.
And, like his sister before him, Kichirou stopped being Kichirou and he instead became The Musician.

After finding each other, The Musician, The Composer, The Dancer, The Story Teller, and the Artist returned to the broken Equestria.

The gifted five (Six I dunno) Agreed that they would be the ones to rule Equestria and end this stupid war.
