Cutie Mark: A purple shield with a thunder cloud in it, he defends Equestria with the power of thunder, also a remnant of his youth.

Personality: A brave and noble pony, always willing to defend the innocent. Used to be arrogant but after a humbling accident, has become much more modest.

Backstory: As a colt, Thunder Shield was a rather arrogant pegasus, he was confident in his flying and often boasted that he was the finest flier in his town. His dream was to be in the Royal Equestrian Air Force (REAF), protecting the subjects of Equestria, and he was confident he'd make it! However, one day he was blown into a thunder cloud and although unharmed physically, his ego was severely bruised. He became much more humble as a result. One day, after he had grown into a handsome stallion, he was visiting the town of Trottingham, when he came across a beautiful mare with a coat that shone like the sun itself. He fell in love at first sight but was too shy to approach her. His visits to the ground became much more frequent however, as he couldn't keep away from the mare for long. One day, he decided to approach her. He introduced himself and she had noticed him around. She complimented his flying and told him he was the best flier she'd ever seen. His confidence lifted, he took the plunge and asked her to be his special somepony on hearts and hooves day. She said yes and they have been together ever since. Since marrying her, Thunder Shield's confidence grew and grew. She became the mayor of the town and he signed up for the REAF, achieving his dream and keeping peace in Equestria.
