Backstory: Thunder Storm was just a regular colt born in Cloudsdale. However, he decided that his calling was elsewhere and flew to Ponyville. His mother and father also came along to help accompany him. Within a week, Thunder Storm and his parents had set up a fireworks stand with Safe 'n' Sane fireworks being their first products. As time went on, though, Thunder Storm unlocked the secrets of the firework business, from the firecracker to the aerial shell. Eventually, Thunder sold all manner of pyrotechnics, from simple sparklers to amazing show starters and finales. He still sells fireworks to this day.
