Appearance: Timeshift has her hair down, and it's very straight, and she keeps it in a bun. It's pure black like the night. Because of her poor eyesight, she wears reading glasses too. Her fur is dark-ish grey, and she has grey-ish eyes. She also has black shoes on her hooves, so she doesn't accidentally have a vision when she's working.
Cutie Mark: A clock that struck midnight. It represents her uncanny ability that sometimes she sees a few minutes or at most, around ten minutes into the past, and occasionally, a minute or two into the future. It only happens when she comes in contact with an object, normally relating with the event she's about to see.
Personality: Timeshift is very studious, and in her lawyer persona, very ruthless. She will try at nothing to prove her client innocent, and will use any means to do so. She loves reading and writing, and keeps a journal. She enjoys learning of all kinds, but is actually deathly afraid of her special talent. She thinks it's unnatural and supernatural and since she believes purely in science, she really wishes she had another special talent.

She has very, very powerful magic if she puts her mind to it, and she can actually control time to an extent. However, she has poor eyesight and she rarely uses her magic anyway. In fact, time magic is the only magic she can work, besides levitation. She's also deathly afraid of clowns to an extent that it is very unnatural.

She has few friends and is very socially awkward. She's fascinated with criminals and how their mind works, and in her free time, extensively studies psychology.
Backstory: Timeshift was born to two high, upper-class ponies in Manehatten. Timeshift was raised to be a proper lady, with manners and everything. She did school, and was the best in her class, fascinated by magic. She constantly got bullied at school due to having no cutie mark, and kept trying to tell her parents, but they were way too busy for her. However, one day in her late teens while walking home from school, she spotted a bit and bent down to pick it up.

Nothing could of prepared her for what happened next.

Everything went black, and when she opened her eyes a second later, she wasn't in the real world anymore. It was like she was a ghost; she wasn't exactly sure what to think. She turned and noticed that there were five ponies harassing... wait. Was that... her? She shook her head and kept looking at the ally where her clone and five other ponies were. The ponies beat her, took all of her stuff, and walked away, leaving her doppleganger on the floor. She ran to her doppleganger to help her up, but it all went white, and she was back to picking up that bit again.

She stared at it with a raise of an eyebrow. She suddenly got pulled into the ally where the exact same five ponies were, and one guy pinned her to the wall and took her stuff.

Timeshift's eyes widened; she saw the future. And now her past self was going to watch her get beaten. And get beaten she did. She tried to fight back, tried to stop it, but she just couldn't. She was left for dead on the floor, but she slowly stood up and groggily made her way over to her house, without any of her school supplies.

Her parents only wanted to know why she was late. Blinded by rage and pain, she didn't even care to notice she didn't have a blank flank anymore.

Since then, she studied in self defense and combat too.

She went to law school after finishing college and now works as a defense attorney.
