Personality: Relatively quiet, prefers to listen than to talk but is more than willing to talk to anyone. Sort of like Big Mac but he says more than "Eeyup"

Backstory: Toast is a griffon that left the griffon kingdom due to it's greedy, selfish and aggressive society. As a griffon, Toast was expected to act this way as well as to play his role as a griffon but he was never happy and always a different lifestyle. (Much like how we bronies are looked down upon and are not allowed to like mlp and are expected to follow gender roles.) He left the griffon kingdom and traveled to Canterlot, the capitol of Equestria. He felt as if he might have landed in the wrong place and would not be accepted by ponies. To his surprise, he was accepted with open hooves. He loved Equestria and was fascinated by the hard work of the earth ponies, the grace of the unicorns, and the abilities of the pegasi and he decided to establish permanent residency in Equestria. He felt he needed to repay Equestria and it's inhabitants for their kindness and enlisted in the Equestrian Royal Guards to serve and protect the ponies of Equestria. Upon his stay, he has heard stories of the new princess, Twilight Sparkle, and he wishes to one day meet her and her friends in person. He hopes Princess Twilight will one day receive her own platoon of royal guards so that he may one day request to be stationed in Ponyville. His biggest dream is that all griffon kind see the success of Equestrian society and one day adopt the same values for itself.
