Cutie Mark: Tough Nut's cutie mark is a rugby ball on fire, showing his passion for rugby, which is the game he loves. The flames are there to denote his strength, as like how a fire burns, he is relentless in attack and defense.

Personality: Tough Nut is a interesting mix of kindness and bitterness, the latter being a result of corporal punishment administered by his father. His kindness, however, is his most natural and foremost personality. Make any alliance with him and you've got a friend for life. However, he does NOT suffer fools lightly. When he is in "the business zone" be it in rugby or work, he doesn't mess around. Above all though, Nut is a good pony. He is good-natured, noble and fiercely loyal.

Backstory: Tough Nut lived in a flat in the city of Canterlot, having only recently moved out of his mother's house. Life had been good to him for the most part; he had a job in the local vehicle workshop, he was a starting player in Canterlot RFC's senior squad, playing at loosehead prop, plus he had enough friends to pack a church for his funeral. Yes, life was good, until the nuke hit.
