Cutie Mark: Three Equestrian letters. (I did a little research and found scenes where books are shown with writing and chose a few characters).

Personality: She is quite a straightforward pony whose mouth works faster than her brain and finds herself in trouble because of it. <br />She makes a point of rarely apologising for what she's done, believing that nopony should do things they will regret, and if that situation comes up then time is better spent putting it right than saying your sorry. <br />She is very enthusiastic about fiction books and is quick to recommend one to any who come to her.<br />She is very sentimental.

Backstory: Typer was the only earth pony born into a family of unicorns who prided themselves on their magical ability. Her family was never deliberately unkind to her but she felt somewhat left out whenever the topic of magic was brought up. As a result she is easily irritated by frivolous magic use.<br />At school her passion was split between her writing classes and history. She would find herself daydreaming in class, blending her much loved historical figures with fantastical elements. One day over breakfast she declared that she would be an author and published her book 'The Dominant Nightmare' after leaving school.<br />Unfortunately her book was a massive failure as nopony was interested in her idea of what Equestria would be like had Nightmare Moon succeeded.<br />Typer was greatly disillusioned and did not try to publish her work again, instead she focused on collecting copies of books that also suffered with poor sale figures and eventually opened a second-hand book shop.
