Gender: Female

      Species: Unicorn

Appearance: Pale, her black/brown mane slit back, long spikey tail hair, black sclera, green iris, large eyes, and pointy ears.

Cutie Mark: Her cutie mark was her talent for art and her appreciation for the darker things in Equestria.

Personality: She’s definitely has intelligence based on her greatest curiosity of art, animals, and the darker things in Equestria like ghouls, ghosts, Cerberus, etc… She is quite placid and copacetic to other ponies. Her appreciation for darker things helps her understand creatures from the Everfree forest. She is also often misunderstood if not given the time for ponies to know her because of her dark humor. She is also quick to anger due to her sensitivity.

Backstory: Veiled Spike was born in Las Pegasus. Her mother works in the theater popular for music and her father was nowhere found. Growing up in the city, she often has to figure out how to not only get around to certain streets, but also stand her ground when necessary due to excessive bullying back at school for looking different. However, she was able to fit in with many of her mother’s friends at the theater who work there. She even made friends with countless musicians who performed at the theater. She related her problems most to a lot of the metal musicians, and it inspired her to become a headbanger. Standing on steady ground she has roof, good solid friends, but her talent was not discovered until her breaking point goes up to flames when she couldn’t take the cruelty anymore. It was then she crossed the street and saw an art gallery full of sculpted skulls and macab paintings. She then came across an artist and musician named Scarred Rhythym, a jersey devil who understood her problems and took her under his wing. He taught her everything she needed to get started on making art. Since then, she gained her first cutie mark, which was so unique that many ponies do not know what the cutie mark meant.
With her head up, her drawings were well known and appreciated, but also terrifies a lot of ponies who do not understand that her artwork was used to cope with her emotions, so many of the staff at school, try to look for everything in her life and why her drawings were so disturbing. They had no choice but to ask, and she specifically told them about the bullying and how she wanted to cope with it, and so they accommodated her and got her bullies in trouble. Even some of them got expelled from school. Her mother, on the other hand, did not take her drawings lightly. Due to her mother’s passion and devotion to dichotomy and Princess Celestia’s light, she discriminated and disapprove of her daughter’s artwork. Veiled Spike had no choice but to hide her artwork during her teenage years. She continues to secretly visit Scarred Rhythym and they since became best friends.
By the time Veiled Spike turned 18, her mother dragged her to Princess Celestia during the royal visit and complained that her daughter turned to the “dark side.” Luna came to Veiled Spikes defense and cleared things up with Celestia and Veiled Spike’s mother. Celestia then sided with Veiled Spike. Veiled’s mother had no other way of justifying her allegations against her daughter, and Veiled won the case and her artwork greatly appreciated and brought to the attention to the business side of the art realm. Scarred Rhythym commissioned and collaborated with her to draw album covers and merchandise designs for his band, Animosity of life. While she continues to do business with him, she also accepts commissions and has her own gallery right in Las Pegasus.

....What hellish nightmare is this thing coming from?

Came from me. She's a gothic pony. I decided to combine mlp with the gothic subculture, and not to mention it's partially a self portrait too. It's true that I have green eyes, brown hair, and fascinated with the gothic subculture.
