Cutie Mark: Her cutie mark is a blueish purple flower, resembling her "green hoof".

If that was confusing, it's just a purplish flower to show her talent with plants.
Personality: Violet is a very silly pony, but she knows when to be serious. She can says the most random things sometimes.

On a good day, she puts a flower that looks the exact same as her cutie mark in her mane. When she's going to start her gardening work, she pulls her mane back into a ponytail. When her mane is pulled back, ponies generally know not to bother her, because gardening is one of the few things she is ALWAYS serious about.
Backstory: Born in Ponyville, Violet had one older sibling, but he was going to Canterlot to study when she was one. Her brother specialized in economics. Her parents were both botanists, which was the main influence on her talent.

As a young filly, Violet spent as long as possible outside, watching the plants in her parents' garden sway in the wind. If it was storming, she'd stay inside, but if it was just showers, she went out anyways.

She received her cutie mark at a young age- first in her class. She got it the first time she helped her mother manage the flora shop that her family had owned for three generations. Shortly after, her father passed away, leaving the shop to her mother. Violet then began helping in the shop whenever possible.

She graduated school early, and took over the family business. Her mother passed away a week later, so Violet closed up shop for a few weeks, so she didn't have to worry about keeping it up while she was in mourning.

After opening back up, she started keeping an indoor garden in the back, as this was the only thing she could do that reminded her of her parents.

She found her pet ferret sitting on her doorstep on a rainy evening when coming back from the shop. She took it inside and named him Fluff. Fluff now follows her everywhere, and helps her when gardening.
