Appearance: Despite being 40-70 years old, he looks about 17. He is about as close to being a vampire as one can get in the Soul Eaterverse. He is very pale, and dresses in all black, with some dark red accents. He often wears a nice suit. His hair is straight and hangs down over his face a bit, and is black with blood red highlights. <br />He has black finger nail polish on his right hand and red on his left hand. Nobody has ever seen his toes, but he claims that his toe nail polish is the opposite. <br />His right eye has a red iris and a black pupil, and his left eye has a black iris with a red pupil. His hair usually cover one of his eyes; he only uncovers both when he is fighting seriously without a meister.

Personality: Vladimir prefers to be called Vlad, because he thinks it sound cooler. He thinks very highly of himself, and generally looks down on everybody else until they prove themselves worthy of his interest and respect. He was brought up in a rich family, and so is used to getting everything he wants. Since he has been an adult and lived on his own for many years, he is by no means helpless. He has been using his weapon powers in fights for quite a long time, but only recently learned that he was a weapon (he thought his powers were just part of him being a vampire), and has no formal training. Because of this, he's pretty good at fighting on his own, but has pretty much no experience in becoming a complete weapon and being weilded by a meister.<br />He is used to doing things for himself, and finds it awkward to ask for help, or even admit that he needs it. It doesn't come out of bragging or a need to feel more able than he is, he just simply doesn't think he should bother others with his problems. <br />He doesn't like symmetry, as he finds it boring.<br />Though he can survive off blood alone, he enjoys eating, and is always willing to sample new cuisine.

Backstory: Vlad was born into a noble family of vampires. Though he was used to getting everything he wanted, he was not sheltered. His parents also gave him a lot of freedom and independence, which he used to learn how to get what he wanted without just asking. His weapon powers didn't start showing themselves until his late 20s, when he was already living on his own. He used his powers to establish himself as a competent fighter, and to protect himself in the fierce battles that shape vampire politics. <br />After many years, he met a man with similar powers, which was when he discovered that he was a weapon, and not just a special vampire. <br />Though already a decent fighter on his own, he came to shibusen to refine his technique and better his transformations.
