Personality: Eclipse is generally on his own. He'd rather carry out his objective on his own. He can't remember anything prior to being frozen years ago, so he'll normally see anypony as a threat at first glance. He won't attack, though. He'll normally give them a chance to explain themselves first before deciding if they're an ally or a foe. He's mostly an antihero. He normally looks out for himself and himself only. He'll only help if there's something in it for him. He only knows one type of spell; psychokinesis. He can shoot a psychic ball of energy from his horn, pick up objects to use as weapons, and do a powerful psychic push with enough concentration.

Backstory: Black Eclipse was accused of being connected to Queen Chrysalis and the Changelings years ago. Because of this, he was taken and put under trail by Princess Celestia herself. He was accused guilty and was sentenced to death. His wife, however, pleaded for him to live. She gave her own life for Eclipse's, which left him devastated.<br />Obsessed over the loss of his wife, Eclipse made it his goal to exact revenge on the princesses. A year after the trial, Eclipse attempted to murder Celestia. He was stopped and imprisoned by the royal guard, where he stayed for several months.<br />Eclipse didn't go unpunished, though. Celestia cast a memory wipe spell on Eclipse, erasing his memory of everything that happened in his life. Upon doing so, Celestia froze him in chrome to prevent him from regaining his memory. Years later, Eclipse broke himself free and broke out of his prison. He has been wondering Equestria ever since, looking for somepony who might know him. He knew that somehow, someway, he had to find the truth about his past.
