Appearance: Jade has a creamy, off-white coat, dull green eyes, and long brown hair. Her feathers are splayed and her mNe and tail are messy, with her tail dragging on the ground.

Cutie Mark: None. Blank Flank.
Personality: Before asylum/first few months of asylum: very shy and flighty. She panics easily and hates confrontation. Outlook on life isn't great, but not quite depressed. Tries to stay away from others.
Prone to panic attacks and high levels of paranoia. If you bring up her family, her mood will obviously worsen and she will try to avoid the topic.

After asylum/after about a year at the asylum: After toughening herself up, she became less shy and more standoffish. She is extremely cautious and suspicious of ponies she's meeting.
Still just as prone to panic attacks and paranoia. If her family is brought up, she will still try to avoid the subject.

She has a panic disorder, some social anxiety and high paranoia.
Backstory: She grew up in Windermare, and rarely made attempts to speak to anypony. Her parents had had her young and by accident, and wished they hadn't had her. Still they kept her, and put on an obvious front, trying to seem like they loved her. It worked while she was a filly, but early in her teens she figured it out. But being the shy pony she was, she didn't get angry at them, only became quieter, feeling like a failure.
Oftentimes she would have panic attacks, and they would bother her parents, to the point where they started yelling at her at home after one. Their resentment of her seemed to grow every time she had an attack, and she felt even worse.
Later into her teens, Jade's parents had had enough of all the paranoia and panic attacks, and took her to a doctor to get her tested for... Anything, they didn't care what. The moment they heard the results - panic disorder and paranoia -, they took her to the closest mental asylum.
At first she was roomed with another young mare, about a year older. At some point, this mare gained Jade's trust and they became friends. It was Jade's first friend -not that no pony had tried; quite a few had tried when she was a filly, but being young, nopony had the patience to break her out of her shell, so they all eventually gave up. Then, in middle and high school, her classmates were mostly the same as elementary school, so nopony made any kind of effort.
After staying at the asylum for some time, she grew to become tougher, at least somewhat. She became less shy and flighty, and more standoffish and reserved.

*possibly more later, don't have the patience to write more right now*
