Appearance: She is a dark-ish purple pegasus mare with a mane and tail that's black and a different shade of purple, in a spiky style. Her eyes are dark green. Her cutie mark is a skull crossed with two music notes.

Cutie Mark: Wind Song's cutie mark is a silver skull crossed with two black music notes. It represents both her dark nature, which will be explained later, and her talent for composing and writing music. It's usually rock/metal, with cryptic, sad, sometimes hopeful lyrics. Though she is a pegasus, her talent doesn't have anything to do with flying even though she's a decent flyer.

Personality: (Still in development...)<br />Her history has shaped her personality in a lot of ways. Wind Song is a quiet and reserved pony. She lived with very little interaction with other ponies for a while, mainly because of her fear of her power corrupting and consuming her.<br />She tries to be kind or at least placid, but Wind Song has a short temper. She can become irritated quickly. She's not exactly shy, but she is an introvert and prefers solitude most of the time.<br />She has the capibility to be happy; let me clarify that this character is not ALWAYS brooding and depressed. She does smile. This pony has a perfectly reasonable...er...reason for being depressed and angry some of the time.

Backstory: Wind Song was born and raised in Cloudsdale. Her parents' names are Glitter Trail and Lightning Sky. From an early age she discovered that she unwillingly represents an "Element of Disharmony" (a creation of mine, but if I role play with her this won't always be the case.) There's more to it but...anyway. Her element is Death, and because of this she used to feel it whenever a pony within a certain distance of her died. That means she literally felt their pain, sometimes having flashbacks of seeing through their eyes as they breathed their last few breaths. At a certain age this stopped happening, but before that it was not only traumatizing, but a huge headache for her. One day, while racing her friend Golden Bell, she felt that somewhere a pony was dying in a fire, and ended up blacking out and falling out of the sky. She was saved by another pegasus but it came close. <br />She sometimes had visions where she interacted with a creature named Nightmare Fuel (This OC has a story of her own that I might post one day). Nightmare Fuel only exists in a sort of dream realm, and is the personificaton (ponysonification?) of Fear. Nightmare Fuel told her about her darker abilities and their pitfalls. Wind Song has the capibility to kill by just looking into something's eyes. However, she has never used it--if she released it, she had been warned that the power would consume her and she would become a heartless monster craving only death and suffering. Naturally that was the last thing she wanted, so she has spent years resisting her nature, trying to outrun fate. It's part of the reason she spends so much time alone. She's just doing everything she can to avoid releasing the dark magic locked within her. <br /><br />She was there when her parents died. She felt the same pain they felt, just without the same effects. (You know, without...dying. Or physical injuries.) However it scarred her heart, as you can imagine. After Glitter Trail and Lightning Sky died she moved to the ground in seclusion, where she has been for years. Very few know of her "condition" or that she is withholding a powerful form of dark magic she has sworn never to use.
