Appearance: Wind Whistler is actually a Crystal Pegasus. He stands a good head higher than average height. His mane and tail naturally falls in a neat and orderly style. He wears his great-grandfather's jousting armor, now worn and very rusted.

Cutie Mark: His cutie mark is a traditional Crystal guard jousting lance. He received it once his father told him of his family's true origins as Crystal Ponies.

Personality: He is very prideful and tends to be a bit boastful. Even so, he is very loyal and protective of his friends. He is slow to anger, quick to forgive. He does not actively seek out friends, but cherishes anyone he has befriended, no matter how long ago it might have been.

Backstory: He grew up believing his family to be a typical Pegasus family living in Manehatten. His father was a highly regarded smith worker, and he grew up uninterested. Fed up with being pushed into a trade he never wanted, Wind Whistler tried to find work around the town, but eventually came back home disappointed and depressed. Seeing no other option, his father revealed their family's history as royal guards in the Crystal Empire. They had been banished during Sombra's reign and were unable to return because of the empire's disappearance afterwards. Wind Whistler was given his great-grandfather's armor, the very same that he wore as a guard, and his father made a jousting lance for him. Feeling like it was his destiny to find and possibly rescue the place of his ancestors, Wind Whistler has been searching for the Crystal Empire ever since.
