Appearance: A purple unicorn with clock work mechanical wings permanent attached to his back. Always wears a lab coat.

Cutie Mark: His cutie mark is an old styled clock stitched together. It is a symbol for his capabilities in science, particularly on the field of biomechanics, and machine in general.

Personality: Unstable is a word often associated with him. He is quite kind, but always looks for ways something can be improved, whether or not the thing in question wants to be improved. He came be Very bipolar and possessive of his experiments.

Backstory: Windup was born to a Pegasus mother and unicorn father. He obtained the unicorn trait, while his twin got the Pegasus trait. Windup was extremely jealous of his brother's flight, so he made a set of wings, that when wound up, could allow him to fly. This advancement earned him his cutie mark and put him on track for medical fields.<br /><br />He studied medicine for a little while, long enough to be able to modify himself to make up for weaknesses he saw in himself. He is an outcast in his old home and has moved to Ponyville to start over.
