Appearance: Winter Moon has a light pale blue coat, with blue hair which has some streaks of ghostly white. He has dazzling blue eyes as well. His cutie mark is a white and light blue crescent moon. He doesn't often wear clothes, unlike most Unicorns. But can occasionally be seen wearing a blue hoodie.

Cutie Mark: His cutie mark is the symbol of a crescent moon being partially covered by clouds. It was once a symbol he had seen in an old tattered and torn book, which was one of Starswirls The Beared belongings.To him, he doesn't really know what it means. He recieved it, when he first visited the old royal palace of the Royal Sisters in the Evergreen Forest. It was during a bleak winter.<br />It appeared after a very strange dream, where he was shrouded in a world of darkness, which he thought he would never awake from. There were distant screams of terror in the background and the sick sound of some liquid dripping into its puddle. A static noise blurred in the background adding horror to this nightmare. The screams were replaced by howls of wind every now and then after fits of manical laughter from somewhere close by. He only awoke when he saw the moon again. It chilled him to bone, despite from having fallen asleep in a blanket of snow. The moon in his dream, was red. The whole nightmare haunted his daydreams.

Personality: Winter Moon is generally calm and reserved.<br />Other ponies remark him for his intuition/wisdom, and mysteriousness as he shows to be so, more often than not. He is generally off doing something on his own personal interests or helping somepony around town.

Backstory: Ever since Winter was a filly, he has always had a high interest in the night sky. One celestial body captured his interest among the stars. The moon. In a way, he felt connected to it somehow, as if they shared some destiny. As he got older, he studied astrology and became very advanced with dark magic. Mostly, he studied spells that dealt with the moon and night. When he was older, his parents allowed him to leave Canterlot and live in Ponyville. This led to his cutie mark, a symbol which he had seen long ago in a book that was tattered and torn. He went to Ponyville to study the strange happenings there and its dark secrets. As well as to discover who he was. His daytime job there is helping anyone who seems to need a hand. This helps him become friends with some ponies.
