Personality: Since her magic is hope and light you'd probably think Wishing Star is a patient, loving and kind soul. Well, she can be, but to a pony who doesn't know her she can appear loud, brash and undoubtedly cool. She is a pony who has high standards on herself and likes to take it easy and enjoy life. She loves to party and maybe even drink a little for the fun of it. You could she is a frequent club goer. She has many friends, but she never allows anyone to become truly close. When it comes to her friends it's truly quantity over quality. Maybe someday she might find a truly true friend or two.<br /><br />Despite there traits she is very reliable in some circumstances. Her magic allows her to spread hope and light (and she might just use her magic as a reading light at times) which she hardly uses these days, too busy rebelling these fantastic powers. You could say that the party front is not really what she is behind those loud and harsh words. She loves the mystery that she has made herself to the society around her. Many ponies know her just because of her status and rumors but few know who she really is. She has reasons for it, of course.

Backstory: Wishing Star was born in Ponyville, her parents both a earth ponies, her grandfather was a unicorn. Thrilled for their little magic gem they have made her into something big even before she could walk properly. When she was younger she didn't mind the attention, but the older she grew the more the pressure started to get to her. <br /><br />Although it was never unbearable it became so after her true powers came into light and she earned her cutie mark. She had the ability to make people hopeful for anything they wanted and bring light into their hearts. Eventually all wanted her attention and get her to create hope for everyone. It was very exhausting for a young filly, and even her parents started to notice what a problem it had become. They moved to Canterlot and started a new life. Wishing Star decided not to use her true magic and started to act a bit foul so ponies wouldn't get to close to her. <br /><br />It is not ideal but she doesn't complain.
