Appearance: <p> <strong>Standard Equestrian Cannon Version:</strong> Zephyr is an <em>Evolved (Reformed) </em>Changeling. He's tall, but not bulky, with a darker blue carapace and chitin skin. His shell is a pink-purple color that extends from his shoulders to a few feet behind his flank hanging back. Shell opens to extend dragonfly like wings. His eyes maintain that same pinkish purple hue of collar as his shell, while two horns, or pincers, extend upward on either side of his head. These horns are more solid an uniform than some other evolved changeling counterparts. </p> <p>   </p> <p> <strong>House Pisces Version: </strong>A phase three evolved changeling, similar in appearance to other drones of a blackshell hive, but with minor variations. He maintains black chitin skin, and a fin of sorts that extends from the middle of his forehead down his back. Like his reformed version, he maintains an elongated pink shell with purple eyes, and two horns extending outward on either side of his head.  </p>

Personality: <p> Zephyr is a changeling with a mostly confident exterior, with substantial volumes of patience. While his confident exterior is something to boast about, he often doubts his own abilities and questions his actions before, and long after they have occurred, leading to many a sleepless night. Still, he tries desperately to avoid allowing this facet of his personality to surface. Additionally, Zephyr does what he can to remain as modest as possible, even to a point of annoyance for some, though not intentional. Additionally, Zephyr is extremely loyal, and will never back stab an ally.  </p> <p>   </p> <p> Despite his clear flaws, Zephyr has learned well how to mask himself to play whatever part needed. As a changeling, this adaptability is important. To that end, he's an excellent manipulator, and revels in intrigue, so long as he's not in the spotlight. However, like many evolved changelings, Zephyr no longer enjoys masking his appearance. In many ways, it has become a point of cultural pride.  </p>

Backstory: <p> Zephyr grew up in a similar manner to most other changeling drones, being born into a pod of 23 others. Gradually, he displayed his above average intellect and abilities to the point he was granted leadership responsibilities among his pod of siblings. From there, he preformed relatively admirably in the name of the queen, he himself being the one to lay the groundwork with his pod for invading Canterlot during the infamous wedding, and capturing Cadence for the Queen.  </p> <p>   </p> <p> Despite losing many brothers and sisters during the events of the wedding, Zephyr rallied what changelings he could find scattered about Equestria, and eventually returned to the colony. This act was expected of a praetorian such as himself, but it only solidified the trust his comrades and the queen placed in him to hold important positions of authority.  </p> <p>   </p> <p> While he wasn't considered the 'favorite' of the queen, he still enjoyed a position close to her during the final days of the first colony. During those last days he began to see where his loyalties lay. His devotion to the queen was out of tradition and command, it wasn't real. The devotion he felt, was for his comrades, the one's he commanded, and served along side on a day to day basis. For him, reaching this realization wasn't difficult as he watched the queen's treatment of one of their own lost brothers.  </p> <p>   </p> <p> Zephyr no longer commands groups of infiltratiors to foal-nap potential thralls or sneak into a city to build safe houses. Instead, he and his pod of evolved changelings work to connect the broken colony to the rest of the world with various projects. His most famous of which, was the suggestion and subsequent construction of a train station, complete with the grassy mossy aesthetic and complete nature look of his new hive, minus the tracks and the actual train of course...  </p> <p> On his off time when not working on various infrastructure projects with his siblings, he tries to build upon the incredible gap in knowledge of the changeling's history. He doesn't shy away from any potential dark pasts, and seeks to find other hives for the sake of building upon their history and culture.  </p>
