Cutie Mark: My pony's Cutie mark is two 8th notes tied together. It represents his talent and passionate love for music of all kinds and playing it.

Personality: Zygen is a very shy pony in situations with other ponies he does not know very well, and can still be soft spoken in alot of cases. However he can also be a bit of a pinkie pie when he gets worked up. He is very passionate with anything he does with full commitment. <br /><br />He can also be stubborn sometimes, but he has a good kind heart and doesn't like to see others feeling down. He will try to help them if he can, but alot of times his cowardice and fearfulness of the unknown and things out of his routine can prevent him from doing things.<br /><br />Overall he is a loving pony who is in touch with his emotions. More so then alot of Stallions.

Backstory: Zygen is a Stallion who grew up in Canterlot with his parents, he grew up mostly normal, except for the fact that early on his parents decided that they didn't want him going to public school with the other fillies and colts. <br /><br />So his parents decided to homeschool him, his mom being the one to teach. <br /><br />He still interacted with other fillies and colts his age, in different activities, but in most of the activities he wasn't very good. And he was also a late bloomer in getting his cutie mark, as alot of other fillies and colts got theirs already before Zygen.<br /><br />When Zygen was about 12 his parents decided to split up, it was a depressing moment for Zygen, but he powered on. At the time he wasn't involved in alot of activities really, so he felt a bit lonely. <br /><br />So eventually the idea struck him to try out public school, his parents were reluctant at first, but decided it was ok to try it.<br /><br />At first he felt really akward and out of place, he was very shy and got nervous easily, so he didn't feel comfortable, also the majority of his classmates already had cutie marks. He felt excluded, even if he wasn't really verbally excluded he felt mentally excluded.<br /><br />That is, until one day he decided to join the school band, Zygen had already tried band once and played the trumpet, but he gave up eventually. However this time he decided he would try again.<br /><br />His first day of class in band was a bit disastrous, and embarrassing. Zygen hadn't played his instrument in nearly a year, and he was very rusty to say the least. <br /><br />So rusty in fact he didn't even remember how to play. So he kind of sat awkwardly in class realizing he didn't even know how to play. He eventually felt to awkward and embarrassed and started to cry. Noticing the tears from the young colts eyes his teacher dismissed him to get water to calm down, and eventually decided to place him into the smaller beginner class.<br /><br />After his embarrassment, Zygen oddly didn't get teased like he thought he would. <br /><br />Zygen arrived the next day to band class, and felt more comfortable, able to do some playing and reading of music. It was coming back to him.<br /><br />Eventually after a few months Zygen had become the 1st chair player at his school band as a trumpet player. He felt very proud of himself, and that day he got his cutie mark, and felt even more happy as he skipped around the room like a little school filly exclaiming "Yes!" with joy. <br /><br />Earlier in the year, before Zygen had started to become accustom to his new school, he discovered filly in band class whom he started to get some feelings for. She was a kind purple filly named Meloette who played the flute.<br /><br />The next day Zygen found himself invited over to sit with Meloette and her friends, Meloette obviously realizing he was new. She kindly made him feel welcomed, and told him he was allowed to sit with them whenever he liked.<br /><br />So a few months went by and Zygen continued to sit with Meloette at Lunch. And Zygen's feelings for her continued to grow. <br /><br />That is until one day when he finally worked up the courage to ask her out, or rather to ask her out as a friend at the time, he asked Meloette if she wanted to spend a picnic with him on a hill he know about that evening, Meloette happily accepted.<br /><br />And on that afternoon under the sunset Zygen and Meloette confessed their feelings for each other.<br /><br />And they have remained a couple ever since.
